Have you tried out Facebook Questions for your business page yet? Facebook has recently been rolling this feature out to profiles and pages alike.

Facebook Questions for Business

According to Ben Grossman, communication strategist for marketing agency Oxford Communications, in a recent Mashable article, “We know from Nielsen that recommendations from friends and family and the opinions of online strangers are the top two most trusted forms of advertising. Facebook Questions offers the perfect opportunity for brands to tap into exactly that.”

Your customers could be looking at your products in your store or online and ask their friends on Facebook what their opinion is!

Even without the mobile integration, Facebook questions is still a great tool for businesses to interact with their fans. Here is how it works:

If you haven’t got the option for questions yet, you should soon. However, in the meantime, you can go to www.facebook.com/questions and add the app yourself.

Thank you to Facebook for continuing to innovate and give us more ways to communicate with our customers!

Thanks Christi and Joe great post have had some folks send me questions testing it out. Of course on the flip side I see the potential for abuse, by small businesses “bugging” their fans with promotional questions of dubious value or topicless questions maybe on the vein of farmville. Still can see some good applications if used right. Thanks again

Herb, I see what you mean by the abuse issue. I do think it would be a great way to interact with your customers occasionally and get their opinion. Don’t think I want any questions about Farmville!
